Or you know, don’t. Some parents do horrible, unspeakable things to their children and do not deserve forgiveness. I think a person should come to terms with the childhood they were given, but forgiving parents (which, frankly, could eventually open doorways to abuse of grandchildren) is not always needed, nor is it always wise.
